Saturday, June 23-

10 - 11 a.m. - Intro to Fly-fishing with Ranger Ron
Have you ever wanted to start fly-fishing? Meet by the boat ramp for an introductory lesson from our river ranger, Ron.

12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Gyotaku: The Ancient Art of Fish Printing
Come to the visitor center to learn about the history of fish printing and make some art of your own.

2 - 3 p.m. - Fish Features
Meet at the group picnic area to learn about the special adaptations that fish have and discover the fish that live in the Yampa River ecosystem.

Sunday, June 24- 

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Bugs, Bugs, Bugs
Meet at the group picnic area to learn about the insects crawling around Yampa River State Park and go on a bug hunt and inspect some of those creepy, crawly creatures.

2 - 3 p.m. - Pond Patrol
Meet at the west pond by the entrance to learn about the pond ecosystem, and draw and create your own pond.
